Planning with Requisition Worksheets not working

August 29, 2014 Posted by Geert Dynamics NAV, TIps No Comments

Working with Requisition Worksheets in Dynamics Nav is handy when you work wit Item Planning. With Reorder point and quantity and everything setup on the Item Cards.

Before that the customer was not working with any location. That needed to be changed. So we created Sales Orders for a certain Item, so that should be on the Req. Worksheet. But when we made Requisition Worksheets and did Calculate Plan, nothing seemed to happen.

Another problem can be that you actually have a Plan, create Purchase Orders, receive them and still getting the same planning lines. That’s because the Req. Worksheet might check a different Location.

The reason is: on the Manufacturing Settings you have to select the standard location for the items called “Components at Location”.
